Belgium: On Thursday afternoon, a district police officer was stabbed by a 12-year-old boy in the municipality of Peer, in the Limburg province.
The stabbing occurred around 15:30 on the Collegelaan where the officer was directing traffic near the Agnetencollege school.
The officer got into an argument with a pupil and was then reportedly stabbed several times in the back and leg by that pupil. The man was taken to the hospital. His life is not in danger.
The suspect – a 12-year-old boy – was arrested, along with his brother and mother.
