Lesser Evil, a game publisher with a mission to promote titles that tackle important issues, has launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund the creation of Death From Above.
In Death From Above, players take on the role of a Ukrainian military drone operator during the Russian invasion. Their mission is to thwart the enemy’s advance by destroying targets, recovering stolen items, and restoring communication networks damaged by the conflict.
A release date of 2023 is planned and a portion of the net proceeds will be donated to Ukrainian charities.
Lesser Evil, the developer of Death From Above, is seeking €25,000 in funding through Kickstarter to help produce the game.
According to Hendrik Lesser, the founder and CEO of Lesser Evil, video games have the potential to be a tool for political and social activism and Death From Above is no exception.
