Poland marks National Flag Day and Polish Diaspora Day
The Polish National Flag Day is a national holiday in Poland which takes place on 2 May every year. The holiday is celebrated on the day between two national holidays: 1 May (called International Workers' Day) and 3 May (Constitution Day).
The Polish Diaspora Day is a public holiday celebrated in Poland on 2 May, to commemorate the Polish diaspora around the world. It was established on 20 March 2002, by the Sejm of Poland. It is celebrated on the same day as the Polish National Flag Day.
