8 men stabbed in London in just 6 days with one victim dead in wave of knife crime

London knife crime increased by 20 per cent between 2022 and 2023

Eight men have been stabbed in London over the past six days, one of them being killed prompting a murder investigation. The terrible wave of knife crime has seen four men and one woman arrested in relation to just one of these stabbings, the other attackers, including the potential murderer, are still at large.

In Hayes in West London, there have been four stabbings between July 3 and July 8 and police are searching for one man in relation to the attacks. A 33-year-old man was stabbed to death in Walthamstow in East London on Saturday, July 6. A murder probe has been launched with police searching for the killer who is still on the loose.

Two people were knifed in a 'machete' fight that broke out in Cockfosters in North London in broad daylight on Monday, July 8. One person was stabbed on Clapham Common in South London where five people were arrested on Sunday, July 7.
