Хаос воцарился в аэропорту Монреаля, следом за другими крупными мировыми аэропортами
Нескончаемые очереди, многочасовые задержки и груды чемоданов – так выглядит аэропорт Монреаля сегодня.
Основным оправданием для перевозчиков и аэропортов – Торонто, Тель-Авива, Лондона, Амстердама, Франкфурта или Монреаля – стала нехватка персонала. Как под копирку, за последние два года это уже стало нормой, а власти аэропортов оправдывают сложившиеся критические ситуации пандемией и её последствиями.
Огромное количество рейсов отменяется. Люди вынуждены простаивать часы в очередях, чтобы получить новый билет на другой рейс. Есть пассажиры, которые провели по 4-5 часов в самолете в ожидании вылета.
«Это абсолютный бардак. Люди ждут в аэропорту уже по двое суток. Наш рейс Air Canada маршрутом Квебек-Монреаль был отменён. Мы опоздали на следующий рейс», – рассказывают пассажиры.
«Я не знаю, что делать. Нет абсолютно никакой помощи. Мой рейс отменен. Я даже не могу получить билет на другой рейс», – жалуется растерянная пассажирка.
Другой пассажир, направлявшийся в Бостон, оценил уровень обслуживания как «ужасный». Пассажиры говорят о полном хаосе в аэропорту – из-за бесконечных задержек на пограничном контроле багаж скидывается в огромные груды. Люди не в состоянии отыскать свои вещи. «Мы летели с пересадкой и опоздали на второй рейс. Наш багаж потеряли. Один из чемоданов отправили зачем-то в Рим. Это ужасно и нет никакой помощи», – сообщил пассажир.
Почему последние два с лишним года в мире одно за другим происходят критические для нормальной жизни события, а обыватель продолжает не видеть связи между ними, тоже не имеет объяснения.
«Мы нанимаем достаточное количество персонала. У нас сейчас 32 000 работников. Это уровень 2019 года, а мы как раз сейчас работаем на 80% от летней загрузки 2019 года», – неожиданно сообщила Air Canada.

Passengers Stranded Overnight at Budapest Airport
On Sunday night, several passengers at the airport received neither their luggage nor any help or information about how to get ahold of their possessions. The Ministry of Technology and Industry (TIM), noted that the transport authority has launched an investigation.
According to 24.hu, the number of passengers was as many as 150-200. The flights in question arrived late on a Sunday evening, and passengers waited for hours at the baggage claim conveyor belts because the crew had gone home, and as it turned out, there was no one to unload the planes.
One of the affected planes was a low-fare Tel Aviv-Budapest flight, one passenger telling 24.hu that families with small children and even passengers with babies were left overnight at the airport without even minimal care. Passengers trapped in the room between the passport control and the glass doors at the Hungarian border were also only able to get water from the toilets. According to Mária Lontai, the most infuriating thing was that for hours there was no one at the international airport to provide any meaningful information about the situation. The counter of the ground handling company was closed and the telephone number posted there was not being answered.
According to Budapest Airport, eight flights were delayed at the same time on Sunday evening due to disruptions at other European airports.
