POLL: Nearly 80 PERCENT of Americans say the U.S. is in "a state of decay"

A poll from the Trafalgar Group partnered with Convention of States Action found 76.8 percent of Americans believe "American society and culture is in a state of decay."

Only 9.8 percent of respondents said the country's society and culture is in a "state of progress" while 13.4 percent said they were unsure.

The view that the U.S. is in a "state of decay" received partisan agreement across political parties: 61 percent of Democrats, 85.9 percent of Republicans, and 81.8 percent of "No Party/Other."
