This sounds like another 'Project Fear'. The future is aways unknown, but Sanctions are a disaster for the West, here and now, and are not discouraging Russia. Mr Biden has a long history of 'always making things worse'.

Something many might not know. WE, the UK, are sending GAS to Europe by Pipeline from UK! We in UK have a surplus of Gas, so ask the Govt WHY we are paying such high prices if UK has a surplus?

And we only get max 5% Gas from Russia.

According to an article in The Times (30th July 22), the average monthly bill for gas and electricity in January 2023 will be a whopping £742!!!
It is ridiculous to expect households to pay such an amount per month, which will be unaffordable for many people.
People will do one of 6 things –
a) Stay cold in winter, burst pipes, and more needless deaths from the cold.
b) Go into debt to pay the bill, staying warm, but having a large debt after winter.
c) People will bypass the meter, causing explosions
d) Pay the full bill because they are wealthy enough
e) Burn dangerous substances to create heat, risking house fires.
f) Do not pay the bill at all

Long term pain will be a minimum of8/10 year. Even then we will not see energy prices fall back to £1250 the average! It may be better to take out the Russian elite, the same approach Putin uses to those who oppose him. We are in a war take no prisoners once dead they will not come back to fight again. As for China we will have to fight them at some time.

Is he saying that this will hurt us more than what it will hurt him, but it's for our own good? To hell with you!

Russian gas is too small an element in UK power generation to be responsible for this. The main problem is the lunatic net zero policy that all our peabrained politicians adhere to.
