Имеет ли право учитель выгнать непослушного ученика из класса, взяв его за руку? Да, говорит школьный закон. Нет, говорит муниципалитет Гётеборга. Шведское Телевидение (25/1) рассказало о учителе Хансе Улофсборге, который в мае прошлого года сказал ученикам убрать планшеты на время урока. Один из учеников отказался, и в конце концов после неоднократных обращений учитель взял ученика за руку и вывел из класса. Ученик грозился убить Улофсборга, но муниципалитет Гетеборга наказал именно учителя, фактически лишив его права на работу.

Nikola Mihov. Together with them, the ministers in the two cabinets of Bogdan Filov, as well as the ministers in the governments of Dobri Bozhilov, Ivan Bagryanov and Konstantin Muraviev, MPs, soldiers, etc., were executed.

The year 2022 was a historic year for immigration in France. Never before had that country seen such an influx of both legal and illegal immigrants.

Last year, France — a country of 68 million inhabitants — handed out over 320,000 first-time residence permits to foreigners, which represents a 17 percent increase over the previous year. Even in 2019, the last year before the Covid pandemic, the number of first-time residence permits was “just” over 277,000.

By way of comparison, the number of such permits was a little more than 170,000 in 2007, when France’s last center-right president, Nicolas Sarkozy, was elected, and it oscillated in the 193,000-197,000 range throughout his five-year tenure.

В Мальмё много учащихся иностранного происхождения. Часто они не верят в теорию эволюции, ссылаясь на свои религиозные убеждения.

Корреспондент газеты Sydsvenskan поговорил с несколькими старшеклассниками, изучающими естественно-научную программу в одной из гимназий Мальмё. Некоторые из них вообще отрицают теорию эволюции, а некоторые верят в нее не полностью.

The number of people applying for asylum in the Netherlands increased sharply last year. There were 35,535 first asylum applications, the highest number since 2015. Compared to 2021, the number of applications increased by 43.6 percent. Applications have decreased slightly since September.

According to Statistics Netherlands (CBS), the largest group of asylum seekers came from Syria, like in previous years. More than a third of all applicants are Syrian. Especially in the second half of the year, many Syrians applied for asylum in the Netherlands. Relatively many asylum seekers also fled from Afghanistan, Turkey, and Yemen.

Nigel Farage has warned that a new EU law that classifies insects as food will have a huge impact on the UK, urging the Government to enforce a “proper Brexit”

Explaining the decision, the EU Commission said: “the consumption of insects (…) contributes positively to the environment and to health and livelihoods.” The E.U. executive branch also noted that insects “are a highly nutritious and healthy food source with high fat, protein, vitamin, fibre and mineral content. Therefore, they are an alternative protein source facilitating the shift towards healthy and sustainable diets.”

Bicycle theft continues to pose a major obstacle to Belgium's aim to get people to switch from fossil-fuelled vehicles to two-wheelers. A central register could be part of the solution.

In Belgium, some 38,000 bicycles are stolen every year, or over 100 bikes a day according to police figures. Moreover, around 65% of bicycle thefts are not reported, meaning the actual number is probably much higher.

Various regional administrations together vill create MyBike, a free central bicycle register on which owners can log the details of their bicycle and file a report, as well as check whether a second-hand bicycle has been reported as stolen.

The latest public opinion survey "European Orientation of the Citizens of Serbia"

If a referendum was organized tomorrow with the question "Do you support Serbia's EU membership?"43 percent of Serbian citizens would vote "in favor", 32 percent "against", and 13 percent would not vote at all.

38 percent of respondents believe that the state and they personally would benefit from EU membership. On the other hand, 21 percent are of the opinion that local agriculture will lose the most from Serbia's entry into the EU.
